August 3

Well, this morning started off pretty bad.  I went downstairs and they had a free breakfast.  There were biscuits and gravy, danishes, and cinnamon rolls.  Unfortunately, the junk food won this morning.  However, the rest of this morning I sat here in the room studying and trying to do some research for workouts and “healthy eating plans”.  I’m not going to use the “D” word anymore(diet….).   Anyhow, I did a brief “workout” if you will here in the hotel room in Austin.  I did about a 5 min variation of jumping jacks, mountain climbers, pushups, situps, and some jogging in place.  A life changing workout?  No, but I think I am headed down the right path.  I also have downed about a liter of water this morning, and it’s only 1030.  Well, off to work…Cleveland then Savannah.  Hopefully I can squeeze a salad in sometime today.

    Cinnamon rolls! Mmmmmm!….man I’m lucky I don’t live in the states anymore!
    Well done on working out when you’re on the road. You don’t have to worry about eating bad every now and again - if this is a lifestyle you’ll just eat good most of the time.
    I figure if I try my best 90% of the time then the scale will still go down over a 7 or 14 day period. :0)

    Oh honey, there will always be free breakfasts.. the trick is to learn how to avoid them. Good luck, I know you can do it. If I can, anyone can. ;)

    I think you are making some steps in the right direction. Especially in doing the research. Sometimes I think people just jump in without any real plan and that’s not good.
